How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Then you should remove any wires attached to the motor and look at the inner workings of the motor itself. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Imagine that the motor has become bent to the point it will not turn. To get the motor to turn again, you'll need to bend it. For this purpose, you could use a vice grip to hold the motor and bend it back into shape. After this is done, you should inspect the motor carefully for any signs or wear.

Once everything looks good, you can put the propeller back on the motor shaft. Then, reattach the wires. You are now ready for your drone to fly.
